伊万里焼と有田焼 改訂版
伊万里焼（いまりやき）と有田焼（ありたやき）は、日本を代表する磁器として世界的に有名です。
佐賀藩（鍋島藩）の藩祖鍋島直茂が豊臣秀吉の朝鮮出兵（文禄・慶長の役、1592年 – 1598年）に参加したことをきっかけに、朝鮮から多くの陶工が佐賀藩（鍋島藩）へ渡り、これらの陶工によって有田における磁器製造が開始されました。
現在でも陶磁器の里として落ち着いた佇まいを留めております。
本写真集では、臨場感あふれる多くの写真で、陶磁器の里の雰囲気をお伝えします。
Imaraki and Aritayaki are famous worldwide as the representative porcelain in Japan.
Many potters from Korea came over to Saga after Naomi Nabeshima of Saga clan (Nabeshima clan) participated in Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s soldiers in Korea (role of Bunroku / Keicho, 1592 – 1598) Porcelain production in Arita started with these potters.
Even now it has kept a calm appearance as a village of ceramics.
